Been in Melbourne all last week and uni stuff is still hecka busy. I have been reading the original manga of Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind and it is amazing. Here is a terrible scan from my sketchbook. These Worm Handlers aren’t in the anime and are disgusting and heinous but i still really like them for some reason. I want to do some more finished Nausicaä pieces as well as some actual short serial comics but we’ll see when i actually get time for that.

Stuff has gotten a bit crazy recently and i have found myself with a load of unexpected responsibilities but here is a little Flame Princess pixel portrait i did in like an hour for Pixel-8 which an awesome pixel art exhibition some peeps i somewhat know have put on. It opened last night so if you’re in Newcastle (Australia) any time soon then i totally recommend you check it out. I probably won’t be back into a (loosely) regular posting schedule for another couple of weeks but i’ve got some ideas for things so that’s hopeful.

Weevil / Bee 3 - Antagony 19 I realised yesterday that weevils look a lot like [Gonzo the Great]. Also the colouring on this one is far too similar to the work of [Jake Lawrence] for me not to acknowledge it.
